Great news for local families that Wokingham Borough Council is expanding Farley Hill Primary School so it will have two classes for new starters in September 2022. We’ve also agreed to apply to change its catchment area to include the new Arborfield Green development and the Poperinghe Way development.
The school moved into its new site in Arborfield Green earlier this year, formally opening its doors to pupils in September.
The old school site in Farley Hill village will be released under the plans, with further decisions to come on whether it is re-purposed or sold.
We listened to families living on or near Arborfield Green and are acting to ease the applications, as restrictions set out by the Department for Education on catchment areas had proved problematic with families applying for the 2021 intake.
