John Redwood MP visited the Wokingham Town Council Heritage Day on Saturday 11 September. He toured the stalls, thanking people for giving the Day a boost and for their charitable work.
John said: “I was pleased to see people enjoying Heritage Day to see the sights and support local charities. Wokingham Town Council put on a good show.
"At the Freely Fruity stall I met volunteers who were giving away plants for local residents to grow their own fruit.
"I also met Wokingham in Need volunteers who were fundraising for their many projects which help homeless and vulnerable people.
"I was happy to thank all the volunteers for their work making a real difference to the lives of local people and to give my backing to growing more fruit and vegetables in Wokingham."
