The Prime Minister was on the campaign trail in the Wokingham constituency on Monday.
A statement from Conservative campaign headquarters said Rishi Sunak visited the Leander Club, across the River Thames from Henley, where he was given a tour of the Club by staff.
He also spoke to rowing students about the importance of engaging young people, especially young women, in sport.
He was joined by the new Conservative parliamentary candidate for Wokingham, Lucy Demery, as well as the Conservative candidate in Henley and Thame, Caroline Newton.
Lucy said: “It was fantastic to welcome the Prime Minister to Wokingham and show him around the Leander Club – one of the many fantastic assets that make the Wokingham constituency such a wonderful place to live.
“I also met an inspiring group of female rowers who show such incredible dedication to their sport, their team and their community.
“Speaking to Rishi about the issues that concern the people of Wokingham, and of Britain, has left me energised for the campaign ahead, and I look forward to speaking to residents about my plan for Wokingham and our Conservative vision of bold action to secure a brighter future for our country.”
