This weekend Lucy joined 5,000 people at Wokingham’s Party in the Park. A fantastic community event showcasing local musical talent & local businesses. She caught up with Town Cllr Phil Cunnington, who’s part of the organising team and enjoyed meeting residents — not least Svitlana, who bravely moved to Wokingham from Ukraine with her 8 year old son in fear of their lives 18 months ago under the Homes for Ukraine Scheme.
Svitlana said “I am so grateful and happy to now be part of Wokingham’s community. It was great to meet Lucy. I think she would make a brilliant MP”
