John Redwood MP visited the Royal British Legion shop in Peach Place Wokingham to thank the organisers for helping the charity.
John said: “They have a good range of items that can help us remember the great wars and sacrifices made. The money raised goes to such a good cause.
“I bought some historical items for my family to help them understand and remember what their grandparents and great parents went through.”
The shop in the former Blue Orchid cafe in Peach Place is open every day up to and including this Saturday selling poppies and many other items in aid of the RBL.
Crocheted poppies by the Barkham Hookers are on sale and they adorn Peach Place.
